The short version

MyCaddie helps college athletes manage NIL deals. We collect what we need to do that and nothing else. We do not sell your personal information. You can delete your account and your data at any time.

What we collect

Your profile. Name, phone number, school, sport, position, conference, graduation year, and state of residence. You give us these when you sign up or complete your profile.

Your deals. Brand offers you upload or text to us, including screenshots, along with the deal terms, deliverables, deadlines, and payment details you track.

Your phone number. Used to verify your account at sign-up and to send you deadline and payment reminders by text.

Connected social accounts. If you connect Instagram or TikTok, we receive your profile, your posts, and their metrics — views, likes, comments, reach. We request read access only. We cannot post as you.

Usage. Basic records of actions taken in the app, so we can show you a history of your own deals and fix problems.

How we use it

To run the features you are using: parsing offers, tracking deals, scoring deals, drafting replies, sending reminders, and building your portfolio.

To produce anonymized market benchmarks — what athletes in a given sport, conference, and follower range are typically paid. These are aggregates. They never identify you, your deals, or the brands you worked with.

To contact you about your account and your deadlines. You can turn off reminder texts without closing your account.

What we do not do

We do not sell your personal information.

We do not share your individual deals with brands, schools, or other athletes.

We do not post to your social accounts, send messages as you, submit anything to NIL Go, sign anything, or move money without you approving it first.

Who we share it with

Service providers who run parts of the product: Supabase (database and sign-in), Anthropic (the AI that reads your offers), Twilio (text messages), Stripe (subscription billing), and Vercel (hosting). They process data on our behalf and cannot use it for their own purposes.

Your compliance office, only when you choose to send them a deal. That is always your action, never automatic.

Anyone you share your public portfolio link with. Your portfolio is off by default. When you turn it on, it shows your name, sport, position, year, school, and the brands you have completed deals with. It never shows your phone number, your email, your contact details, or deal values unless you separately choose to show them.

Athletes under 18

Some college athletes are minors. If you are under 18, please review this policy with a parent or guardian before using MyCaddie. If you believe a minor has given us information without that review, email privacy@mycaddie.co and we will remove it.

How long we keep it

Your account data stays until you delete your account. Deal history stays while your account is open, because the value of a portfolio is that it accumulates.

After deletion, personal data is removed and connected platform data is deleted. Anonymized aggregates that already contributed to market benchmarks remain, since they no longer identify you and cannot be traced back.

Your choices

You can view and edit your profile at any time, turn your public portfolio on or off, disconnect a social account, stop reminder texts, and delete your account and data. See Delete my data.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that affects how we handle your data, we will tell you in the app before the change takes effect.
